Black Friday 2026: TVs
Black Friday TV deals
TVs take the deepest holiday cuts of anything in a home theater. Every TV we recommend is below, with what it sells for today and the sale price at which it becomes a buy we would make ourselves: 25 percent under its typical street price.

Black Friday is Friday, November 27, but retailers now start TV sales weeks earlier. Settle the size and panel type now, so the only question left on the day is price.
From November 9 we check these prices twice a week through Cyber Monday and mark each pick that hits its target.
Typical prices are what each product actually sold for when we last checked, in October 2026, not list prices. Targets are our judgment of a price worth acting on, not a forecast of what any retailer will charge.

What to expect
How these go on sale
This year's models are already mid-life
New TVs launch in spring, so by November the current lineup has been on shelves for half a year and is what retailers discount. Older models still in stock can go lower again, but sizes and stock disappear quickly.
Event-only model numbers
Some TVs sold during holiday sales are built for the event and can differ from the reviewed version in panel, ports, or dimming. Match the full model number, such as 65QM7L, to the one on our product page before you buy.
A size up can be the real deal
When a sale brings the next size up to the price you planned to spend, check it against your seat. At 9 feet or more, 75 inches usually fits better than 65.
Before the sale
Settle these first
Settle the size for your couch
The most common holiday TV regret is buying too small. Two minutes with the calculator settles it.
Bright room or dark room
Mini-LED for daylight and lamps, OLED for movies in a dim room. Our Mini-LED vs OLED comparison walks through the trade.
Count the HDMI 2.1 ports
One console needs one 4K120 port; two consoles or a PC plus a receiver need more. Every TV here has at least two.
Common questions
- What is a good Black Friday price for a 65-inch TV?
- For a 65-inch Mini-LED, the TCL QM7L is a strong buy at $670 or less and the Hisense U7SG at $640 (they typically sell for $898 and $848). For a 65-inch OLED, the LG C6 becomes a buy at $1,200.
- Is Black Friday or the Super Bowl the better time to buy a TV?
- Both bring the year's best TV prices. Black Friday has the widest choice of sizes; the weeks before the Super Bowl in late January and early February can match it on the outgoing models while stock lasts. If you need the TV for the holidays, buy at Black Friday.
- Are Black Friday TVs lower quality?
- Most are the same TVs sold all year. The exceptions are event-only models made for a specific retailer's sale, which can have a different panel or fewer HDMI 2.1 ports. A model number that does not match any review is the warning sign.
- What is the cheapest TV worth buying on Black Friday?
- For a bedroom or second room, the Roku Pro Series 55-inch at $450 or less. For a main living room, start with the Hisense U7SG at $640: a 65-inch Mini-LED with four HDMI 2.1 ports.
