Projector discounts are real but smaller than TV discounts, so our target is 20 percent under the typical street price. Below is every projector we recommend with its price today and the price we would wait for.
A projector is only a deal if it fits the room. Run the throw calculator with your wall and mounting position first; a model that cannot fill your screen from where it has to sit is no bargain.
From November 9 we check these prices twice a week through Cyber Monday and mark each pick that hits its target.
Typical prices are what each product actually sold for when we last checked, in October 2026, not list prices. Targets are our judgment of a price worth acting on, not a forecast of what any retailer will charge.

Laser and ultra short throw see the biggest cuts
Holiday projector discounts cluster on laser and ultra short throw models. Budget lamp-based projectors move less, because their prices are already low.
Brightness claims vary
Retail listings mix measurement methods. ANSI and ISO lumens are comparable; figures labelled LED lumens, or with no standard at all, are not. Our product pages use the manufacturer's ANSI or ISO figure.
Budget for the screen
A screen changes the picture as much as a step up in projector. If the sale saves a few hundred dollars, that is often the screen paid for.

- For a first 4K projector, the Epson Home Cinema 2350 is a buy at $1,020 or less (typically $1,279). For a laser model that games well, wait for the BenQ TK710 at $1,440.
- Are ultra short throw projectors discounted on Black Friday?
- Yes, and they are among the most discounted projectors. The Hisense PX3-PRO becomes a buy at $2,320 and the Samsung Premiere 7 at $2,400. Budget for a CLR screen alongside it.
- Should I buy a projector screen on Black Friday too?
- Yes if the projector is going on a wall you can dedicate to it. A fixed-frame screen gives a flatter, more uniform picture than a painted wall, and screens are discounted in the same sales.
