SVS PB-3000 R|Evolution
SVS's 2026 refresh of the 3000 series borrows the driver and amplifier architecture from its 17-Ultra flagship, with 1,200 watts continuous and extension into the mid-teens. It is the one-box answer for large open rooms and dedicated theaters.

- 13" high-excursion driver, ported
- 1,200 W RMS / 4,000 W+ peak
- 15 Hz to 270 Hz (+/-3 dB)
- SVS app, 6-band PEQ, port tuning
The 2026 R|Evolution refresh borrows the driver and amplifier architecture from the 17-Ultra flagship, with 1,200 W continuous and rated extension to 15 Hz. A 6-band parametric EQ in the app handles room modes that the receiver's correction cannot. For a large open room or a dedicated theater it is the point where one sub finally has real headroom.
Watch out: About 85 lb and two feet deep, and the AVS Forum review was paywalled at research time, so verify the verdict before leaning on it.
Pros
- Flagship-derived driver and amp
- Extension into the mid teens
- 6-band PEQ and app control
Cons
- Very heavy
- Large footprint
- Newly released, so long-term reviews are thin
